The founders of Linkvue Communications engineered its first patient entertainment system over 35 years ago. To this day, Linkvue remains under the management and oversight of those very founders, Peter van der Sleesen and Tony Sidawi. Their mission statement today remains the same after nearly four decades: To engineer solutions that meet the highest standards of integrity and reliability, delivered within an affordable and practical framework.

Peter van der Sleesen
Managing DirectorPrior to starting Linkvue, Peter van der Sleesen was Technical Director of the avionics and defence electrical systems architect, Thomas Global Systems Pty Ltd. Peter has qualifications in engineering, business management, physics and mathematics. He was also a lecturer in statistics and business strategy at the University of Technology, Sydney. Peter co-founded Linkvue Communications in 1988.
Tony Salawi
Engineering DirectorTony Sidawi worked for 12 years as the Chief Engineer in the Thomas Electronics manufacturing division of EMI Australia Ltd. Tony has qualifications in engineering with a specialisation in digital electronics, and since its founding in 1988 has guided engineering, design and technical support at Linkvue Communications.
Karl Kulcsar
Project ManagerKarl Kulcsar has worked in the Hospital Patient Television industry for over 40 years. He joined AWA's Hospital TV Rentals (HTR) division in 1973 and was responsible for design, sales and support functions. Karl has been engaged in the design, installation and management of some of the largest patient television systems in Australia including Westmead, Royal Prince Alfred, Bankstown, Canberra, Royal North Shore, and St George hospitals.
David van der Sleesen
General ManagerDavid was brought up working in Linkvue. He currently holds a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) and is completing his Masters in Migration Law. Before committing to Linkvue full-time, David held a number of management positions within the Community Services sector. He oversaw numerous Child Protection and NDIS clients and was responsible for teams of up to 60 people. David has returned to Linkvue as a general manager.
